Early last year I made the decision to begin documenting my Paintings and drawings before and after academia. I also took a break from contributing to the gallery run of exhibiting in the city. A time for reflection was needed. I have always believed that as artists we have this unique view and perception of the world around us and It effects us in ways that is evident in our art And art making process. Sometimes we just have to step back and just look more at what we have done. Listen to what we are saying in our work and respond.
So I came across an old painting that I did before I started my art education. I looked at it for hours and started to listen.
